About Me
Growing up in Western New York I developed my love of decorating at a very early age. Using my own bedroom as my canvas, I transformed a drab niche into a haven I never wanted to leave. And with that I also found my passion of beautifying living spaces into a creative desire that is still growing today.
In 2000 I co-owned The Designing Eye and was able to share my technique with a well diverse client base. Traveling from Florida, New York, & North Carolina, I had enhanced the homes of my clientele with extremely satisfying results.
I had made the choice to branch out on my own after 7 years and I created Grand Illusions. I am very proud of this company and because of the collaboration I have with some of the areas top designers & decorators my repertoire has been expanded to encompass all styles of design.
Always looking for the new & unexpected I continue with my education studying with some of the most world renowned faux artists. Taking classes at the Sarasota School of Decorative Arts (SSDA), I have kept the edge on faux finishing. Also learning techniques from artisan Gary Lord from Wall Options Inc. & Donna Phelps from SSDA I have the advantage of ground breaking products & knowledge that most only dream of.
